Build a chatbot that actually works! Students design conversation flows, write intents and responses, and deploy a rule-based chatbot for a school FAQ. Covers chatbot design, dialogue logic, and basic NLP concepts — no coding experience needed.

Course Overview

Month 1 — Chatbot Design:
Session 1: What makes a chatbot useful? Good vs bad examples
Session 2: Intents and entities — what users mean vs what they say
Session 3: Conversation flow diagrams — plan your chatbot
Session 4: Welcome message, fallbacks, and error handling


Month 2 — Build with Dialogflow or Botpress:
Session 5: Set up your chatbot platform
Session 6: Create intents and training phrases
Session 7: Add responses — text, buttons, quick replies
Session 8: Test and find gaps in your bot's knowledge


Month 3 — Deploy & Improve:
Session 9: Connect to WhatsApp or a website
Session 10: Analyse conversations — what are users asking?
Session 11: Improve based on real user behaviour
Session 12: Showcase — present your chatbot to school office
